Point One Zero designed an AI development lifecycle for an insurance and healthcare technology organization. Teams had been trying coding assistants on their own, and leadership could not see what was generated, reviewed or shipped. We specified twenty delivery agents, each with a written job and governance rules, and tied the program to standard delivery metrics.
Coding assistants were spreading team by team with no shared rules for review, security or testing. Leadership had no view of how much code AI produced or whether it improved delivery. In a regulated business, that gap was a compliance risk as well as a quality risk.
We assessed delivery maturity, wrote a lifecycle playbook and specified twenty functional agents covering requirements, design, coding, testing, security, release and operations. Each specification states the agent's purpose, triggers, inputs and outputs, tools, governance rules and expected effect on DORA metrics. An interactive agent catalog let teams see what each agent does before adopting it.
Leadership received a maturity baseline, a playbook, twenty agent specifications, a KPI prototype and a roadmap from requirements to release evidence. AI assistance can now be introduced agent by agent and measured against delivery performance, rather than spreading tool by tool.
Current delivery practice measured before any change.
Purpose, triggers, tools and limits written for each agent.
Delivery performance made visible to leadership.
Teams see what each agent does before adopting it.
Every agent had a written job description before it wrote a line of code.
